I had the opportunity to attend a corporate day out, organized by a previous employer. It was meant for team building and bonding, but it was an opportunity to photograph something that was completely outside my usual subject matter.
After sitting through some corporate speeches on financials and goals, we were treated to an afternoon of hospitality at the Hamilton Race Course, complete with lunch and other perks.
Since I was there for work, I didn’t want to be too noticeable and opted for my trusty Fujifilm X-M1. Despite its compact size, the image quality it produces is top-notch thanks to its well-matched 16-50mm lens and APS-C sensor.
The X-M1 may be slow compared to newer cameras, but its size and discreetness made it the perfect choice for this event.
